IT Project Manager | Financial Brokerage

Role Overview

Charterhouse is partnering with a leading global financial brokerage firm with established offices in the UAE and the UK. As the firm aggressively expands its regional footprint, we are seeking an IT Project Manager to spearhead the implementation and enhancement of cutting-edge brokerage technology. This role is designed for a process-driven professional who can navigate the complexities of high-frequency trading environments and strict financial regulations, ensuring that technical innovation is delivered with precision and structural integrity.

Key Responsibilities

1. End-to-End Project Lifecycle Management

Strategic Planning: Support the full project lifecycle, from initial scoping and objective setting to final execution and post-launch review.
Methodology Alignment: Ensure all projects adhere to PMP methodologies, maintaining rigorous standards for documentation and process flow.
Regulatory Compliance: Navigate the specific regulatory requirements of the UAE and UK financial authorities, ensuring project governance meets all legal and audit standards.

2. Technical Implementation & Coordination

Trading Systems: Lead the deployment and enhancement of sophisticated brokerage technology platforms, including core trading systems and high-acuity market interfaces.
CRM Integration: Manage the implementation of CRM systems, ensuring seamless data flow between front-office sales and back-office technical infrastructure.
Vendor & Team Liaison: Act as the primary coordinator between internal IT teams, third-party technology vendors, and external service providers to ensure project milestones are met.

3. Performance Tracking & Reporting

Metrics Definition: Establish clear project KPIs and success metrics to evaluate the performance and impact of new technological features.
JIRA Orchestration: Utilize JIRA as the central hub for planning and tracking, leveraging dashboards and automated reports to provide real-time status updates to stakeholders.
Budgetary Oversight: Manage project budgets within the constraints of financial regulatory frameworks, ensuring optimal resource allocation.

About You: Skills & Competencies

Financial Fluency: A deep understanding of the brokerage ecosystem, including the technical demands of trading platforms and the necessity of data integrity.
Agile Navigator: Proficient in using JIRA or similar project management tools to manage complex dependencies and fast-moving workstreams.
Process Champion: A firm believer in project governance, with the ability to maintain structure in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
Effective Communicator: Ability to bridge the gap between technical engineering teams and non-technical business stakeholders across the UAE and UK offices.

Qualifications & Experience

Professional Tenure: A minimum of 3 years in dedicated IT project management positions.
Sector Expertise: Proven experience within Financial Services or a Brokerage firm is highly preferred.
Technical Knowledge: Hands-on familiarity with trading platforms and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics).
Certification: Must hold a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Governance Background: Strong knowledge of project budgeting and governance under the oversight of financial regulatory authorities (e.g., DFSA, FCA).
