Senior Manager, Client Services | Retail, CPG & Logistics | CSG
Role OverviewΒ
As a Senior Manager of Client Services, you are a strategic growth engine for the Retail, CPG, and Logistics business unit. Your primary mandate is to drive aggressive revenue growth by managing and expanding a portfolio of high-value accounts, with a specialized focus on navigating and capturing buying centers operating out of India global centers. You will act as the bridge between client aspirations and our technical delivery, positioning us as a trusted, preferred partner through sophisticated account mining, relationship management, and high-stakes negotiation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Account Planning & Mining

Growth Architecture: Develop and execute comprehensive account plans that optimize service line mix, maximize revenue, and ensure long-term profitability.

Portfolio Expansion: Proactively identify “mining” opportunities by securing meetings with key stakeholders across different departments. Drive cross-sell and up-sell initiatives to expand the global footprint within your assigned portfolio.

Strategic Positioning: Anchor client meetings to position our services strategically, ensuring active participation from Business Units (BUs) and partners to close complex opportunities.
2. Relationship Management & Advocacy

Relationship Building: Cultivate deep-rooted relationships with new and existing customers, ensuring our brand is the first choice for their strategic initiatives.

Stakeholder Orchestration: Set up periodic reviews with critical client stakeholders and recommend participation in industry conferences or public engagements to strengthen the partnership.

Conflict Resolution: Act as the primary liaison for resolving escalations related to project execution, collaborating closely with Delivery Management, Finance, Legal, and IBU leadership.
3. Pursuit Management & Deal Closure

Proposal Coaching: Facilitate high-impact coaching sessions between the client and technical/domain experts to align solutioning with business value.

Negotiation: Lead the negotiation for MSAs and SOWs. Drive client consensus and articulate business value to win deals at a premium, ensuring the right balance between client needs and organizational financial targets.
4. Account Operations & Governance

Contract Integrity: Sign off on SOWs and contracts, ensuring timely client sign-offs and adherence to legal standards.

Revenue Assurance: Act as the escalation point for invoice disputes and payment releases. Monitor and follow up on CSAT (Client Satisfaction) and ELF (Engagement Level Feedback) to minimize revenue leakage and enhance brand reputation.
Technical & Professional Requirements

Domain Expertise: Mastery in Sales Execution within the Retail, CPG, or Logistics sectors.

Business Acumen: Strong understanding of account P&L management, including revenue forecasting and profitability analysis.

Leadership: Ability to lead cross-functional teams and inspire a “client-first” mindset across the pursuit and delivery organizations.

Communication: Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills, with a proven ability to articulate complex technical value propositions to C-suite executives.

Education: Bachelor of Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech).
