Role Overview

The Applied Research Center (ARC) is seeking visionary researchers and architects to drive the next frontier of digital innovation. In this role, you will bridge the gap between academic research and commercial application, focusing on high-impact emerging technologies. You will be responsible for scanning the global tech ecosystem, curating strategic partnerships with startups and universities, and rapidly developing “first-of-a-kind” solutions. Whether you are engineering Agentic AI, exploring Quantum simulation, or designing Spatial Computing experiences, your work will define the future technology roadmap for global enterprises.

Key Accountabilities

1. Emerging Tech Research & Ecosystem Curation

Trend Analysis: Conduct deep-dive research into emerging tech trends and player ecosystems to assess their strategic impact on client businesses.
Innovation Ecosystem: Actively scan and curate a network of startups, universities, and tech partners to augment internal research capabilities.
Rapid Prototyping: Design and develop Proof of Concepts (PoCs) by integrating open-source solutions and startup technologies into reusable enterprise components.

2. Applied Research & IP Development

End-to-End Design: Contribute to high-level architecture, testing, and implementation of complex PoCs in areas like AGI, Robotics, and Space-Tech.
IP Creation: Develop program-level designs and modular components. Ensure all Intellectual Property (IP) complies with rigorous coding standards and secure development guidelines.
Thought Leadership: Demonstrate technical authority by contributing to Tier-1 publications, whitepapers, and patents. Develop immersive showcases that bring IP to life in a business context.

3. Innovation Consulting & Talent Management

Client Translation: Understand unique client requirements to implement bespoke, first-of-a-kind solutions that extend existing ARC IP.
Mentorship: Lead and mentor cross-disciplinary teams, fostering a culture of intellectual curiosity and helping members acquire niche emerging tech skills.
Knowledge Dissemination: Participate in and lead hackathons, demo sessions, and global tech conferences.

Technical & Professional Requirements

Core Research Focus Areas

Advanced AI: Specialist knowledge in Small Language Models (SLM), Inference Scaling, Synthetic Data, Distributed Learning, and Agentic AI.
New Interaction Models: Mastery of Spatial Computing, Mixed Reality (MR), and advanced 3D visualizations.
Autonomous Machines: Engineering for Humanoids, Industrial Robots, Drones, and Smart Products.
Platforms & Protocols: Architecting for extreme scale, low-latency, and interoperability (e.g., Beckn, CDPI).
Quantum & Cybersecurity: Quantum AI, Cryptography, Ethical Hacking, and Cyber Resilience.
Emerging Frontier Research: Brain-computer interfaces, Semicon, and Space technology.

Preferred Skills & Competencies

Advanced Methodology: Expertise in experimental design, data interpretation, and prototype development.
Technical Stack: * AI/ML: Data Science, Generative AI, and Agent Engineering.
- Robotics: Forward/Inverse Kinematics and Robotics Algorithms.
- XR: Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR).
Domain Knowledge: Automotive Systems and Design Thinking.

Qualifications

Educational Background: * Bachelor of Engineering (B.E./B.Tech).
- PhD in Computer Science, Computing, or a related Engineering discipline (Highly Preferred).
Experience: Proven track record in a research-heavy environment with the ability to translate theoretical concepts into commercialized technology.
