Accounts Supervisor – Finance Operations

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Supervisor to join our centralized Finance team in Peliyagoda . In this role, you will be a key driver of our disbursement and reconciliation processes, ensuring that financial transactions across our multiple centers and the Head Office are executed with precision. You will blend technical accounting knowledge with strong coordination skills to maintain a seamless and compliant payment ecosystem.

The Role: Payment Management & Financial Coordination

As an Accounts Supervisor, you will be responsible for the accuracy of our payables and the integrity of our financial data within the ERP system.

• Disbursement Management: Lead the end-to-end payment process, including the professional handling of check processing and secure online bank transactions.

• Inter-Center Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for our various centers, coordinating and following up on all payment-related matters to ensure operational continuity.

• Reconciliation Excellence: Perform rigorous bank reconciliations and other subsidiary account reconciliations to ensure financial records are consistently accurate.

• Data Integrity: Manage the timely and accurate posting of accounting entries into the ERP system , maintaining a high standard of data hygiene for financial reporting.

• Head Office Liaison: Support smooth communication and reporting between regional centers and the Head Office finance leadership.

Your Profile

We are looking for a disciplined accounting professional with a strong grasp of banking portals and the organizational skills to meet strict financial deadlines.

• Experience: A minimum of 1 year of dedicated experience in Accounts Payable or a similar financial operations role.

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Office , specifically Excel for data management and Word for professional documentation.

  • Prior experience in operating online banking portals for corporate payment processing is considered a significant added advantage.

• Qualifications:

  • Full qualification in AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians).

  • Part qualification in a recognized professional body such as CA, CMA, CIMA, or ACCA .

• Competencies:

  • Exceptional attention to detail with a “zero-error” mindset.

  • Strong proactive communication skills for cross-departmental coordination.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and consistently meet month-end deadlines.
