Assistant Manager – Quality Assurance (Systems Certifications)

We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Assistant Manager – Quality Assurance to lead our comprehensive compliance and certification portfolio. In this specialized role, you will be the primary architect of our management systems, ensuring that our operations meet and exceed the most rigorous global standards for food safety, quality, and environmental stewardship. You will blend technical expertise in food science with a high-level auditing mindset to drive a culture of “Audit Readiness” and continuous improvement across the organization.

The Role: Systems Governance & Certification Mastery

As the Assistant Manager for Systems Certifications, you will oversee the lifecycle of international standards and internal compliance frameworks.

• Standards Implementation: Lead the end-to-end implementation, maintenance, and optimization of management systems, including ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, BRCGS, ISO 14001, Organic, and SMETA .

• Internal Auditing: Serve as a qualified lead auditor, conducting systematic internal audits to identify non-conformities and ensure ongoing adherence to global certification requirements.

• System Evolution: Proactively identify and integrate emerging management system requirements while strengthening and streamlining existing protocols.

• Performance Analytics: Organize and lead management review meetings by preparing high-level performance data, compliance reports, and trend analyses.

• Root Cause & Correction: Lead the execution of corrective actions and in-depth Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to drive long-term system stability and efficiency.

• Knowledge Transfer: Deliver specialized training and awareness programs to stakeholders to ensure a deep organizational understanding of certification standards.

• External Audit Management: Act as the primary liaison during external audits, ensuring timely and technical responses to findings and certification body queries.

• Cross-Functional Synergy: Collaborate with diverse internal teams to maintain year-round audit readiness and effective process implementation.

Your Profile

We are looking for a seasoned QA professional with a sophisticated understanding of global food safety landscapes and the leadership presence to influence quality outcomes.

• Education: A BSc Degree in Food Science or Natural Science .

• Experience: A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance, with a specific and proven track record in managing complex system certifications.

• Certifications: Must be a Qualified Auditor in recognized certification systems.

• Technical Mastery: * Expert-level knowledge of quality, food safety, environmental, and product certification standards.

  • Deep familiarity with FSSC 22000, BRCGS, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, SMETA, and Organic regulations.

• Soft Skills:

  • Exceptional communication skills in English (written and verbal).

  • High level of computer literacy and data management capabilities.

• Competencies: * A natural leader and team player with a high degree of analytical and problem-solving agility.

  • Ability to navigate high-pressure audit environments with technical confidence.
