Assistant Manager – Quality Assurance (Lead Auditor & Systems)

We are seeking a seasoned and results-driven Assistant Manager – Quality Assurance to spearhead our comprehensive compliance and certification landscape. In this high-impact role, you will be the primary custodian of our global standards, ensuring that our operations meet and exceed the most rigorous international benchmarks for food safety, quality, and environmental stewardship. You will blend 10+ years of technical expertise with a strategic auditing mindset to drive a culture of “Audit Readiness” and operational excellence across the organization.

The Role: Strategic Governance & Certification Mastery

As the Assistant Manager for Quality Assurance, you will oversee the full lifecycle of international standards, from initial development to long-term optimization.

• Systems Stewardship: Manage and maintain the integrity of all core system certifications, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, FSSC 22000, and BRCGS , ensuring absolute compliance with global requirements.

• Lead Internal Auditing: Act as a qualified system auditor, conducting rigorous internal audits across multiple certification frameworks to identify gaps and drive corrective actions.

• System Innovation: Proactively develop and implement new certification requirements while continuously refining existing systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

• Holistic QA Support: Provide high-level technical support across all QA functions, including regulatory compliance, incoming/in-process controls, and the management of non-conformities.

• Advanced Analytics: Utilize statistical assessments and in-depth Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to diagnose systemic issues and implement sustainable improvements.

• Cross-Functional Leadership: Work collaboratively with diverse internal teams to ensure that quality systems are integrated into daily operations rather than existing in isolation.

Your Profile

We are looking for a highly disciplined QA leader with a deep-rooted understanding of the global food safety landscape and the leadership presence to command a high-pressure audit environment.

• Education: A BSc Degree in Food Science or Natural Science .

• Experience: A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance, with a specific, proven track record in managing multiple system certifications at scale.

• Certification: Must be a Qualified Auditor in recognized international certification systems.

• Technical Mastery: * Expert-level knowledge of quality, food safety, environmental, and product certification standards ( FSSC, BRC, ISO ).

  • Strong proficiency in statistical process control and data-driven problem-solving.

• Soft Skills:

  • Exceptional communication skills in English (written and verbal) for technical reporting and stakeholder engagement.

  • High computer literacy with experience in QA management software and data analysis tools.

• Competencies: * A natural team player with strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving agility.

  • Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable operational plans.
