AI / ML Engineer (Multimodal & Agentic AI)

Role Purpose We are seeking a high-caliber AI/ML Engineer to join our innovation-driven team. This role is focused on the intersection of Multimodal Learning (Vision, Audio, and Language) and Agentic AI. You will be responsible for building the “brains” of our next-generation systems—developing models that don’t just process data, but reason, plan, and interact with their environment. You will work in a high-velocity environment, translating complex research into scalable, production-ready ML pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

Multimodal Model Development

Sensor Fusion: Design and implement AI models that simultaneously integrate and interpret visual, audio, and linguistic data.
LLM Fine-Tuning: Extend and optimize Large Language Models (LLMs) for specific perception and interactive tasks, ensuring they can “see” and “hear” effectively within their operational context.
Algorithm Innovation: Build and test custom algorithms for advanced scene understanding and real-time signal interpretation.

Agentic Architectures

Reasoning & Planning: Develop “agentic” behaviors, including autonomous reasoning loops, long-term memory management, and decision-making frameworks.
Integration: Seamlessly merge cognitive architectures with vision and audio inputs to create agents capable of complex, multi-step tasks.

Pipeline Engineering & Optimization

Scalable Workflows: Build and maintain end-to-end ML pipelines for data preprocessing, model training, validation, and automated deployment.
Performance Benchmarking: Evaluate models against rigorous industry benchmarks; optimize specifically for latency, accuracy, and resource efficiency on cloud and edge hardware.
MLOps Integration: Utilize containerization and orchestration tools to ensure reproducible and reliable model delivery.

Required Qualifications

Education & Tenure

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronic & Telecommunication Engineering, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
Experience: 1–3 years of relevant industry experience in machine learning or software engineering.

Technical Mastery

Programming: Expert-level proficiency in Python.
Frameworks: Proven experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, or Scikit-learn.
Core Science: A solid grasp of ML/DL architectures, signal processing, statistics, probability, and advanced data structures.
Agentic Concepts: A strong conceptual and practical understanding of AI agents and autonomous systems.

Infrastructure & Tools

Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure, including on-premise server configurations.
Modern Tooling (Plus): Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and MLOps platforms like MLflow, SageMaker, or Vertex AI.

Person Specification

Analytical Rigor: Strong algorithmic problem-solving skills with an obsession for detail and reproducibility.
Communication: Ability to translate complex technical milestones into clear business updates for cross-functional stakeholders.
