Senior Procurement Officer (IT Procurement)
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Procurement Officer to manage the end-to-end purchasing lifecycle for our IT solutions. This role is central to the successful delivery of customer projects, requiring seamless coordination between sales, engineering, operations, and our network of external vendors.
The ideal candidate is a highly organized professional who thrives in a digital-first environment and is comfortable driving efficiency and process maturity within a growing procurement function.
Key Responsibilities
Purchasing & Vendor Management

End-to-End Procurement: Execute the full purchasing process following customer quote approvals, including sourcing hardware, software, and specialized services.

Order Lifecycle Management: Create, track, and manage purchase orders (POs) and sales orders using internal digital systems.

Strategic Sourcing: Maintain and leverage relationships with vendors and distributors to ensure competitive pricing, reliable supply, and awareness of special incentives or promotions.

Technical Coordination: Partner with engineering teams to confirm product suitability, verify availability, and identify viable alternatives when necessary.
Financial Governance & Accuracy

Due Diligence: Perform rigorous checks to ensure total alignment between customer quotes, purchase orders, and final vendor invoices.

Cost Optimization: Support sales and engineering by identifying cost-effective purchasing options and incentive-led opportunities.

Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous procurement records and approvals to ensure audit readiness and operational transparency.
Process Improvement & Communication

Stakeholder Updates: Provide clear, proactive communication regarding order status, delivery timelines, and potential supply chain risks.

Operational Maturity: Contribute to the refinement of procurement workflows and documentation to support the scalability of the function.

Knowledge Sharing: Support the development of internal resources to ensure continuity across the procurement team.
Required Experience & Skills

Professional Background: Demonstrated experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, ideally within the IT or managed services sector.

Vendor Expertise: Proven ability to work effectively with external distributors, vendors, and partner networks.

Operational Excellence: A strong understanding of procurement governance and the ability to manage a high volume of concurrent orders.

Technical Collaboration: Experience supporting technical, engineering, or project-based teams is highly regarded.

Adaptability: Comfortable working in an evolving environment where processes are continuously being improved.
