Senior Procurement Officer

Join our dynamic Finance Team as a Senior Procurement Officer, where you will be instrumental in managing our day-to-day procurement operations with a focus on financial integrity. You will bridge the gap between procurement logistics and financial control—managing everything from high-level vendor negotiations to fixed asset tracking and rigorous audit compliance (ISO/SOC 2). This role demands analytical precision, proactive problem-solving, and a commitment to maintaining seamless internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Procurement: Manage the full procurement lifecycle—overseeing purchase requisitions, securing competitive bids, and issuing purchase orders (POs).

  • Supply Chain Oversight: Monitor deliveries and inventory levels while proactively resolving any supply chain disruptions.

  • Financial Collaboration: Work closely with the Finance Team to verify invoices, reconcile accounts, and ensure timely vendor payments.

  • Strategic Sourcing: Identify and onboard new vendors for goods and services, ensuring all sourcing aligns with company growth and policy.

  • Asset Management: Oversee the procurement and meticulous record-keeping of fixed assets for accurate tracking and reporting.

  • Compliance & Audit: Maintain comprehensive records to support operational teams during ISO, SOC 2, and other critical audits.

  • Internal Liaison: Coordinate with cross-functional teams to identify, fulfill, and improve material and service requirements.

  • Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on procurement activities, overall expenditure, and supplier performance metrics.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Finance, or a related field.

  • Professional Certification: A partial or full qualification in ACCA or CIMA is highly preferred.

  • Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on operational procurement experience, ideally within a high-growth or audit-heavy environment.

  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of internal control frameworks, inventory management, and the end-to-end procurement lifecycle.

  • Audit Readiness: Familiarity with compliance requirements and providing support for international audits (ISO, SOC 2, etc.).

  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical and decision-making abilities, coupled with the communication skills needed to coordinate across a global organization.
